Framed lithographic print of a Cremonese Stradivarius-type violin. In the years following the luthier's death, many people began imitating his signature style as an homage to the artist. Many of these reproductions were labeled similarly to the original pieces, however a telltale sign that it was not original would have been on a label stamped inside it. The year that was usually printed on it would have been written in by hand instead of on a press, as shown in this litho.
This piece is in good condition, but does a few water stains and creases. The fiberboard dustcover is also missing a few brad nails.
