Henry The Friendly Dog 41x25x43cm

Animal sculptures work best when they're big enough to register properly, and at 43cm tall Henry is well past ornament territory. Henry The Friendly Dog 41x25x43cm is made from stone with a smooth lacquer finish in black, which gives him weight and a solid presence rather than the hollow feel of a lighter material. That scale suits a hallway, a living room floor beside a bookcase, or a spot by the front door where he greets people at knee height. The detailing in the face is what gives him character, so he's worth placing where people pass close.

• Substantial 43cm height, well past ornament scale
• Stone construction with a smooth black lacquer finish
• Real weight and solid presence rather than a hollow feel
• Suits hallways, living room floors and entryway corners
• Detailing in the face rewards a close look
